Today I got the chance to do a bit more work at lunchtime. I painted the right side fenders and started on the left side Balken Cross. It’s the largest of the stencils and the most difficult I think, requiring good registration of two layers of stencil to accomplish. We’ll see how it turns out…
Masked and sprayed first pass…

Finished job…

Hi
Great restoration. I have owned my Kubel for 37 years. Bought it for $2300, shipped it over from Berlin, pushed started it on the dock and drove it home. Now, the reason for my comment is that is the last 50 years I have never ever seen a WW11 photo of a Kubel with a cross on the door. The only place you will see a cross on the door is on a model or in a movie. If you want to E-mail me I will send you a photo of my Kubel.

Allan, Thanks for the information. I was looking for confirmation to make the markings correct. And I had a feeling they may not be, so I did one door and then sat back wondering.
Thanks for the information!
